Hollow Rock-Bruceton schools closed due to illnesses

CARROLL COUNTY, Tenn. — All Hollow Rock-Bruceton Special School District schools will be closed Thursday and Friday due to illnesses.

Director of Schools David Duncan said there is a high number of illnesses among students and faculty.

All sporting events have also been canceled.

He said the illnesses are mostly flu and strep throat.

Around 140 students at the high school have been sick, according to Duncan.
