Brownsville native & JC Penney CEO meets with President Trump at White House
WASHINGTON, D.C. — President Donald Trump hosted a listening session Wednesday with retail leaders from across the country, including Brownsville native and JCPenney CEO Marvin Ellison.
Ellison was seated to the right of the president during the meeting at the White House.
Ellison grew up in Brownsville and graduated from the University of Memphis.
During the meeting, Trump discussed trade and taxes, saying he wants to lower corporate tax rates.
