Women hit by car, expected to be okay

JACKSON, Tenn. — A little after 6 p.m. Sunday first responders were on the scene of an auto pedestrian accident in West Jackson.

The incident happened in the Hermitage Apartments off Old Hickory Boulevard. Jackson Police say a woman was walking when a car backed into her. EMS transported the woman to the hospital with a non-life threatening injury to the knee.
