Miss Tennessee visits students at USJ

JACKSON, Tenn. — Miss Tennessee made a stop Wednesday in the Hub City.

Grace Burgess hosted two assemblies at the University School of Jackson. She read to the students in the library and talked to them about perseverance and grit.

Burgess says motivating children is what’s important to her.

The next Miss Tennessee competition will be held June 21-24 at the Jackson Civic Center.
