Jackson Service League Golf Tournament raises funds for local charities

JACKSON, Tenn. — Many business and family teams gathered Friday at Jackson National Golf Course to compete in the third annual Jackson Service League Golf Tournament.

Each year, business and family golfers gather to compete and earn money for some of Jackson’s local charities.

“We give money every year, grants to local charities, whether that’s Hands Up!, RIFA, Boys & Girls Club,” Jackson Service League Golf Chair Syrena Flowers said.

The Jackson Service League is a group of women that have a vision to help to make Jackson a better place to live. The golf tournament is just one of many events the Service League sponsors to raise money for this cause.
