Wreck on Old Hickory temporarily knocks out power

JACKSON, Tenn. — A Thursday morning wreck in north Jackson temporarily left one area without power.

Around 11 a.m., a tractor-trailer was traveling west on Old Hickory Boulevard when it clipped a utility pole, according to the police department.

Police say nothing was suspicious about the driver of the truck. Electricity has since been restored to the area.
