Jackson Chamber unveils new website to serve as hub for city resources

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson Chamber unveils a new website that will serve as the online hub for several city organizations.

The new website, www.jacksontn.com, is shared by the Jackson Chamber, Jackson Downtown Development Corporation, Jackson-Madison County Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Jackson Chamber’s Economic Development.

City and county officials along with community leaders celebrated the launch of the new website Thursday. The chamber said the new site is just one of several initiatives in the “Forward Jackson 2.0” campaign, a five-year economic development plan funded by local investors in the chamber.

“If you’re an economic development consultant somewhere else in the country, it makes access to information about our community a whole lot easier,” Jackson Chamber President and CEO Kyle Spurgeon said. “If you’re a tourist, it makes access to tourism information easier. If you’re looking at investing in downtown Jackson, there’s information there about downtown.”

The new website centers around the tagline “Jackson: Connect Here,” reinforcing the message that Jackson is a great place for opportunity and growth.

Other Forward Jackson initiatives include regional and local economic development, workforce development, small business growth and promotion of tourism, according to the chamber.
