Groups give updates on local projects at ‘411 on 731’ event

JACKSON, Tenn. — Organizers gave residents updates on local projects Thursday during the “411 on 731” event.

Groups had just two minutes to give their presentations. Everything from canoeing to a new “bike share” program were covered.

“We just want to spread the word and just people to be aware of what’s going on in Jackson,” Manager of Member Engagement Alexis Long said.

Members of the planning group hope to have similar events once or twice a year.
