McKenzie shooting victim suffers gunshot wounds to face

McKENZIE, Tenn. — An early Sunday morning shooting leaves a man in critical condition with gunshot wounds to his face.

Bryan Michael Townes, 31, was airlifted to Nashville where he was admitted in critical condition after the early morning shooting, according to a release from the McKenzie Police Department.

Officers responded around 12:40 a.m. to the shooting in Walnut Circle, according to the release.

Police on scene found Townes with multiple gunshot wounds. He was conscious but was having difficulty speaking due to gunshot wounds to his face, according to the release.

Townes was transported to a local hospital and then airlifted to Nashville.
