2 transported after crash in south Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. — Two people were sent to the hospital after a car wreck on Highway 18 in south Jackson.

There was a two-car collision just before 8 p.m. Friday in which one car t-boned the other at Highway 18 and Pine Needles Lane, according to the Jackson Police Department.

Police say two people were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Traffic was backed up for about an hour.
