Crash briefly shuts down Hwy 45 in Gibson County
GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn. — Firefighters responded to a wreck early Monday morning in Gibson County.
Gibson County Fire Chief Bryan Cathey said the crash happened around 3:30 a.m. on Highway 45 at Vick Road between Bradford and Milan.
Firefighters said all four lanes of Highway 45 shut down for about 30 minutes due to live power lines across the road. The highway has since reopened, but at least one lane is still closed
Cathey said it looks like a car hit a utility pole and then caught on fire. Firefighters said the person in the car went to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
