Lavata Sanderlin Rice

Funeral services for Lavata Sanderlin Rice, age 95, of Denmark, Tennessee, will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Cerro Gordo Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Rice died Saturday January 6, 2018 at her residence.

Visitation will begin Thursday morning, January 11, 2018 from 9:00 am until 7:00 pm at Mercer Brothers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Mrs. Rice will lie in state Friday morning at Mt. Zion Baptist Church from 12:00 pm until time of service.
