Man arrested after guns, drugs found in McNairy County

McNAIRY COUNTY, Tenn. — A man was arrested Friday morning in McNairy County after guns and drugs were found in a vehicle during a traffic stop.

According to a post on the McNairy County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, Darrius Sanders, 19, was arrested after two deputies stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation.

The post says during an investigation, the deputies seized two loaded guns, about 32.5 grams of methamphetamine, about 50 grams of marijuana and $770.

Sanders was arrested on outstanding warrants, the post says. He is also facing charges of manufacturing, delivering, sale, or possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and unlawful drug paraphernalia.

He has been released from custody at the McNairy County Jail.
