Officers investigate shooting in east Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. — Officers are investigating a Wednesday afternoon shooting in east Jackson.

Police were called around 2 p.m. Wednesday to a home along Oak Street.

Officers say one man was found with a gunshot wound and transported to a local hospital.

The extent of his injuries is unknown at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
