Man killed in Monday wreck near Savannah

HARDIN COUNTY, Tenn. — A man was killed and another injured in a crash Monday near Savannah.

According to a Tennessee Highway Patrol report, 60-year-old David Hutton, of Lutts, died in the crash. Another man, 49-year-old Johnny Middleton, of Savannah, was injured.

The report says Hutton’s Chevrolet Silverado was headed northbound on State Route 128 when Middleton’s Dodge Ram 2500 crossed the center line and hit Hutton head-on.

The report says both men were wearing seat belts.

The crash is still under investigation.
