Savannah city worker injured in gas explosion

SAVANNAH, Tenn. — One person is injured after a small explosion Friday afternoon in Savannah.

A city of Savannah employee was working on a gas line on Pickwick Road near St. Mary’s Catholic Church when officials say there was a small gas explosion.

The employee was injured, though the extent of those injuries has not been confirmed.
