1 airlifted in south Jackson crash

JACKSON, Tenn. — One person was taken by helicopter to the hospital after a crash Tuesday afternoon in south Jackson.

Police say a person was airlifted to a Memphis hospital after the crash on South Highland Avenue.

At least two vehicles were involved in the crash.

One lane of traffic was closed as crews worked to clear the scene.
