U.S. Senate approves legislation for expansion of Shiloh Nat’l Military Park

WASHINGTON, D.C.–The U.S Senate passed legislation Tuesday to expand the Shiloh National Military Park in west Tennessee.

U.S. Senators Lamar Alexander and Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee said the expansion will help attract visitors to the state, boost local economies, and protect the site for future generations. They introduced the boundary adjustment in January and the legislation passed the Senate, Tuesday.

The U.S. House of Representatives will now consider the legislation.
