Hardin Co. man indicted on child pornography charges
JACKSON, Tenn. — A Savannah man is facing multiple child pornography charges after an investigation by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, FBI and Savannah Police Department, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Andrew Hilmar Sanchez, 30, is accused of coercing three girls under the age of 10 to engage in sexually explicit conduct for the purpose of producing child pornography, according to a news release.
The release says Sanchez also had a cell phone that had pornographic images of children under the age of 12.
He also faces additional charges at the state level for continuous sexual abuse of a child, the release says. Those charges are pending in Hardin County.
Sanchez faces a total of four child pornography-related charges.
On the first three counts, if convicted, Sanchez faces up to 30 years in prison. If convicted on the fourth count, he faces up to 10 years in prison.
