Lane College students evacuate dorm after mace deployed

JACKSON, Tenn. — Students at a local college received an unwelcome wake-up call Thursday.

Officials say Hamlet Hall at Lane College was evacuated after someone in the building apparently deployed a can of mace.

It is not confirmed what the incident was or if there were any injuries.

The building was evacuated as a precaution.
