1 airlifted in crash on 45 Bypass in north Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. — Crews responded Tuesday afternoon to a crash at the intersection of the U.S. 45 Bypass and Oil Well Road.

An Air Evac Lifeteam medical helicopter landed on the bypass in response to the crash.

The Jackson Police Department confirms a truck rear-ended a car. They say one person was airlifted from the scene.
