Duplex damaged in east Jackson fire

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson Fire Department is investigating after a fire Tuesday afternoon at a duplex in east Jackson.

Fire officials say they responded around 4:20 p.m. to a home on Oak Ridge Drive.

No injuries were reported.

Officials say the fire appears to have started in a room upstairs, and the fire is believed to be accidental.
