JACKSON, Tenn. — Police confirm a person was struck by a vehicle Thursday evening in midtown Jackson.

The person was hit around 6:50 p.m. at North Highland Avenue and Westwood Avenue.

Multiple law enforcement and emergency crews were on scene.

We do not know how the incident occurred or the extent of the person’s injuries.
