Tractor-trailer truck involved in Interstate 40 crash

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating a crash Friday afternoon on Interstate 40 near Vann Drive.

The crash was first reported around 2:45 p.m. near the 80 mile marker westbound.

THP says the crash involved a tractor-trailer truck.

While injuries were initially reported in the crash, the extent of those injuries is unknown.
