Man convicted of stabbing pregnant girlfriend in 2015 sentenced

TRENTON, Tenn. — A man convicted of stabbing his pregnant girlfriend in 2015 is sentenced to 35 years.

Torey Estes was accused of stabbing his then-girlfriend multiple times at a Cantrell Street home. She was three months pregnant at the time.

Estes was convicted of attempted first-degree murder, attempted voluntary manslaughter, false imprisonment and aggravated assault.
