JPD: Woman injured in east Jackson shooting

JACKSON, Tenn. — Jackson police rushed to east Jackson at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday after reports of a shooting.

Police say a woman was injured in a shooting outside at Carnell Street and Carruthers Drive.

She was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
