‘Field of Faith’ brings community together to prepare for new school year

CARROLL COUNTY, Tenn. — West Carroll Junior/Senior High school and local churches hosted a community-wide event Wednesday.

The “Field of Faith” is held for the kickoff of the school year. Everyone enjoyed food from the concessions and afterward held a devotional on the football field.

“This is huge for our community. Just a time together, celebrate together and reflect, and, like I said, get ready to start a school year on Monday,” Director of Schools Dexter Williams said.

This was the first year for “Field of Faith,” and organizers say the turnout was so great they hope to make it an annual event.
