Little General gives $1,000 to STAR Center
JACKSON, Tenn. — An area nonprofit that helps people with disabilities received a donation Wednesday.
The Little General convenience store on North Highland Avenue, along with Cox Oil corporate representatives, presented a $1,000 check to the STAR Center.
The STAR Center helps those with disabilities with their education, employment and work toward independence.
“This is going to provide scholarship dollars for those folks who need services, but may not have the money to pay for those services,” STAR Center President Dave Bratcher said.
This is the third year the STAR Center has received a donation from Little General.
