JACKSON, Tenn. — City leaders welcomed local college students at Tuesday morning’s City Council meeting.

City Councilman Ernest Brooks hosted a group of African-American Jackson State Community College freshmen.

The students attended the meeting and later participated in a mock City Council meeting, while also having lunch with city leaders.
