Showers and Thunderstorms Return Tonight, Continue into Thursday
Weather Update – 10:30 p.m. – Tuesday, October 29th
Scattered light rain and cloudy skies will continue for a couple more hours before heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms move into the area after midnight. Temperatures will drop to the upper 50s by sunrise Wednesday, so a bit mild for this time of the year but still cool.
Showers and thunderstorms will continue through most of Wednesday morning and afternoon and there’s a marginal risk for severe weather. One or two thunderstorms may become strong with gusty winds but we don’t expect anything anywhere near what we had on Saturday. Rain may take a break late Wednesday afternoon and evening but returns late Wednesday night into Halloween morning resulting in 1-3″ of rain across the area making this the wettest October on record.
