Sorority sisters celebrate with a purpose

JACKSON, Tenn. — Sorority sisters gave back to higher education with an annual gala Saturday.

The alumnae chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. hosted their sixth annual Gala with a Purpose.

Members and their dates enjoyed an evening of sisterhood and camaraderie at the Carl Perkins Civic Center.

The celebration was all for a great cause.

Some of the money raised from the gala goes back to Lane College.
