Cloudy Skies and Scattered Showers for the Rest of the Month

Weather Update – 10:35 p.m. – Wednesday, January 28th

Clouds and showers have made for a dreary Wednesday so far. Temperatures started exactly as expected at 39°F in Jackson this morning and warmed up right as forecast at 47°F. There’s warmer weather ahead early next week but we’ll have to wait until then to get rid of these clouds!

TONIGHT
Rain showers will gradually diminish under cloudy skies overnight although drizzle and mist will remain possible with dense fog forming in some spots by sunrise. Temperatures will drop to the middle 30s by Thursday morning.

Cloudy skies continue tomorrow with high temperatures in just the middle and upper 40s – right about where we were today. There’s a potential for drizzle again tomorrow, especially in the evening, but rain showers are likelier to be returning Friday. I’ll have some sunshine in the forecast on WBBJ so for the rest of the forecast stay with WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News and keep up with Storm Team Weather online too for more updates.
