A Tornado Watch is now in effect for Crockett, Dyer, Fayette, Gibson, Henry, Lake, Lauderdale, and Weakley counties until 4 a.m. Friday morning. A tornado watch means that conditions are favorable for the development of severe weather including tornadoes, large hail and damaging winds in and close to the watch area. While severe weather may not be imminent, you should remain alert for rapidly changing weather conditions. Stay tuned to Storm Team Weather Online and on air for the latest information.

Test

TONIGHT
Showers and thunderstorms will be possible overnight in West Tennessee as a cold front comes into the Mid-South. The threat for severe weather is a level 1 or 2 out of 5 for most of the viewing area with the exception of Lake and Obion countoes which are at a 3. The greatest risk for severe weather happens after midnight and before sunrise Friday. The main concern for severe weather is for damaging winds which could end up being up to 60 mph in the strongest thunderstorms overnight. Temperatures will be in the middle 60s at the coolest point of the night.

Test2

Showers are possible tomorrow with rain developing along the cold front still making its way through West Tennessee. Because of the cold front, some in northwest Tennessee will be in the 50s tomorrow afternoon while southwest Tennessee will be in the 70s. Most of us will be in the 30s by sunrise Saturday.
