Toyota Manufacturing Tennessee suspending production until April 3
JACKSON, Tenn. — Toyota Manufacturing, Tennessee confirmed Thursday that they plan to extend their production suspension through April 3.
In a statement, the company says the North American facilities will close from March 23 through April 3. Production is currently scheduled to resume on April 6.
The statement says the action is being taken to protect the health and safety of employees, stakeholders and communities. It is also the result of the significant market decline due to the COVID-19 outbreak, according to the statement.
