Weakley County confirms first coronavirus case

WEAKLEY COUNTY, Tenn. — Weakley County Mayor Jake Bynum confirmed a case of COVID-19, or coronavirus, in a Facebook post Friday.

Mayor Bynum released a statement confirming the positive test result.

In the statement, he said the patient is recovering and is in quarantine.

Additional details about the patient have not been released.
