12 positive COVID-19 cases confirmed in Madison Co.

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department has confirmed 12 total cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.

Regional director Kim Tedford confirmed the cases during a news conference Wednesday morning at the health department.

On Tuesday, the department confirmed eight residents had tested positive for the virus.

Five patients are currently being treated at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
