Occupants flee vehicle during traffic stop

JACKSON, Tenn. — A routine traffic stop took an unexpected turn.

Saturday afternoon an officer was conducting a traffic stop when the occupants of the vehicle got out and took off running near Campbell and Bryant Street, according to the Jackson Police Department.

Officials with JPD say numerous officers responded to the scene and all involved were captured.
