LyondellBasell donates $10,000 to RIFA

JACKSON, TN. – LyondellBasell announced it has donated $10,000 to RIFA.

“RIFA does a great job in helping those in the community,” said Rebecca White, site manager. “We have always been proud of the work they do and hope this contribution helps them continue their mission during this difficult time.”

The contribution to RIFA is part of LyondellBasell’s global $1.3 million donation to support food banks in 17 countries and communities where the company has major operations.

“Food banks everywhere are ramping up efforts to ensure the most vulnerable in our communities are fed,” said Lisa Tillman, Executive Director of RIFA. “Contributions from community partners like LyondellBasell help us keep up with the increase in demand we are seeing. Many people who have not relied on our services before have resorted to food banks for emergency food supply and resources.”

Donating funds to supply food for those in need is just one way LyondellBasell has responded during this pandemic. Additionally, LyondellBasell’s materials are found in many applications critical to protecting and preserving health and safety.
