Gas line ruptured in Humboldt

HUMBODLT, Tenn. — Emergency crews respond to a gas leak in Humboldt.

The leak happened on Hawks Loop, off of Eastend Drive around 1:30 p.m.

A resident reported the leak to the police and said a gas line had been ruptured during construction.

Crews evacuated the scene and advised nearby residents to keep their distance.

No injuries have been reported.
