Madison Co. Fire Department rescues cat from tree

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — The Madison County Fire and Rescue Department could now be called the “Big Cat Rescue.”

Following a phone call from the owner, the department saved Rod the cat from a tree.

Rod was stuck in a tree since Wednesday.

The department’s Facebook page stated:

“After a little game of cat and mouse, Chief Turner was able to corner Rod and return him to safety.”
