Jackson Police Department cancels National Night Out event

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson Police Department and City of Jackson have cancelled the annual National Night Out event.

The event was originally scheduled for Oct. 6.

The police department says the cancellation is due to COVID-19 concerns and follows recommendations by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to maintain community safety.
