Deer muzzleloader, archery season opens Saturday
The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is reminding hunters that muzzleloader and archery season for deer opens on Saturday, Nov. 7.
The season runs through Friday, Nov. 20 in all the deer hunting units across the state, according to TWRA.
If you’re hunting in Unit CWD, gun season will also open on Nov. 7. Unit CWD includes 11 counties in West Tennessee, where chronic wasting disease was confirmed in December 2018, according to the TWRA.
The statewide bag limit is two antlered bucks, and no more than one antlered deer may be taken in each day, the TWRA says.
In Unit CWD, there is a three antlerless deer limit per day.
