Suspect in Newbern homicide in custody
DYER COUNTY, Tenn. — A man wanted in connection with an Oct. 24 homicide in Dyer County is now in custody.

According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Terence Jamal Robinson, 32, was arrested on Tuesday in Nashville. He has now been booked into the Dyer County Jail on one count of first-degree murder.
The TBI says Newbern police and deputies with the Dyer County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting at a business on Smith Street in Newbern around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24.
Agents say responding officers found Robert Brandon, 49, dead in the area.
The TBI, Newbern Police Department, Dyer County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshals Service are investigating.
