East Jackson home damaged in morning fire

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson Fire Department is investigating the cause of a house fire Monday morning in east Jackson.

Officials say the fire started at a home on the 300 block of Lexington Avenue.

No one in the home was injured, but one firefighter did sustain minor injuries. Officials say that firefighter is OK.

The cause of the fire is not believed to be suspicious.
