Martin police celebrate officer’s retirement

MARTIN, Tenn. — Martin police are celebrating an officer’s 26 years of service.

Lt. Dean Brooks started his career with the Martin Police Department in 1994, according to a news release.

He was eventually promoted to patrol lieutenant, and remained working in that capacity until his retirement this year.

Lt. Brooks was also a graduate of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia.
