Additional death, 3 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Madison Co.

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department has confirmed another Madison County resident has died due to COVID-19 complications.

The health department says a 67-year-old man died March 17 due to complications of COVID-19. A total of 213 Madison County residents have died due to COVID-19 complications.

The health department also confirmed another three cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of confirmed positive cases to 11,014.

Those patients range in age from 38-years-old to 61-years-old.

There are currently three Madison County residents hospitalized, with one of those patients on a ventilator.

The health department also released statistics on patients, including zip code, race, gender, age and their health statuses.
