United Way hosts 8th annual First Ladies Luncheon, celebrating local women
JACKSON, Tenn. — United Way of West Tennessee hosted their eighth annual First Ladies Luncheon.

Thursday afternoon, many gathered at the Jackson Fairgrounds outdoor pavilion to celebrate the impact of local women in the community.
The tablescape event had each table decorated based on the sponsor or organization’s choice. Guests enjoyed a lunch served by Gourmet Your Way.
The guest speaker was Tennessee Department of Education Commissioner Penny Schwinn.
“We’re so incredibly excited to be able to host this event today, one of the first events I think back around our community this side of COVID,” said Matt Marshall, president and CEO of United Way of West Tennessee. “So excited to have this many people out and for us to be celebrating the incredible work of United Way here in West Tennessee.”
Marshall says they were excited for the community to come out and enjoy the event, and adds that it was a perfect day to do it
