Funeral services planned for Madison County Deputy Terry Dyer

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Madison County Sheriff’s Office has released details on the funeral service of Deputy Terry Dyer.

The sheriff’s office says the service will be at the West Jackson Baptist Church on 580 Oil Well Road at 2 p.m. Sunday, and visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday at Arrington Funeral Directors.

Sheriff John Mehr confirmed that there will be a law enforcement procession from West Jackson Baptist to the Lexington City Cemetery.

Dyer died Tuesday while on duty at the General Sessions courtroom, according to the sheriff’s office.
