Residents walk to fight Alzheimer’s
LEXINGTON, Tenn. — A ribbon cutting was held today at Beech Lake to fight Alzheimer’s disease.
The Alzheimer’s Association held “The Longest Day” to spread awareness about Alzheimer’s and Dementia.

Volunteers and members of the community gathered to walk against the disease and donate to the cause.
Many healthcare vendors were out today to show their support to those who are effected.
Mayor Jeff Griggs shows his support for healthcare workers and all that they’ve done for his family.

“I can’t say enough about the men and women that work in the field to help patients like my mom and others. I’m just so thankful for what they do for a living to make it easier on family members like mine,” said Mayor of Lexington, Jeff Griggs.
