Sheriff John Mehr hosts community meeting in Madison County

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — Residents gathered for a community meeting.

Madison County Sheriff John Mehr held his 54th community meeting early Thursday evening at the Beech Bluff Fire Station in east Madison County.

Gary Thompson hosted the meeting and state Sen. Ed Jackson was also there to speak.

Mehr talked about the jail expansion and other pressing topics.

Residents got a chance to ask the sheriff questions and voice their concerns.
